On the occasion of the traditional procession of Corpus Domini, scheduled for Thursday 19 June 2025, the Local Police Command of the Municipality of Catanzaro issued an ordinance to guarantee the safe performance of the religious event. The ordinance provides, along the entire path of the procession, the following provisions: ban on parking with forced removal starting at 14:00; Ban on circulation from 16:00 until the end of the event. The religious procession will cross the following city streets: Piazza Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, Corso Mazzini, Piazza Le Pera, descent heroes, via Iannoni, Piazza Unità d’Italia, via Montecorvino, via Sensales, via Raffaelli, Piazza di Tocco, via Poerio, Piazza Matteotti, Piazza Garibaldi, and again Corso Mazzini for the return to the Basilica of the Immacolata. The municipal management sector will position the temporary signs necessary to inform citizens about the changes to the road network. Citizenship is invited to pay attention to the signs and collaborate with the local police officers and with the police involved in the area to ensure the success of the event.
