The last municipal council of 2024, the one which took place on Friday 20 December, in addition to approving an important point on the agenda of the assembly session, concerning the 2025-2027 budget forecast, opened a window on the administrative future, when there are just over two years left until the end of the registered council period Franz Caruso.
As the tenant of Palazzo dei Bruzi himself hinted, the reshuffle of the council should arrive as soon as possible, without, however, revolutionizing the current structures of the executive, except to the extent of reassigning some delegations and filling the two remaining boxes vacant, attributable to the figures of the deputy mayor and the budget holder, left without a contact person after the farewell of the then exponent of the Democratic Party, who then moved to the Italian Left, Maria Pia Funaroand the resignation of the councilor Francesco Giordano.
A political-institutional reorganization, therefore, which would proceed in line with the objectives outlined by the local government team, reiterated precisely on the occasion of the last civic assembly, during which the Assize gave the green light, in fact, to the budget forecast . Green light also given to the three-year public works programme, the practice of which was illustrated by the branch councillor, Damiano Covelliwho recalled that at the beginning of the legislature there were 42 works in the pipeline, which were reduced in subsequent years because some had started, others were being completed, and still others had been completed.
