Cosenza creates, doesn’t score and Foggia punishes them. A match ends 0-2 in which the rossoblù build several favorable situations but pay for the lack of precision in front of Saro and a serious defensive inattention on Ravasio’s lead. Petito then closes the score in the last action, with Coppitelli’s entire team pouring forward. In the first half it was Palazzino who created the biggest problems for the guests: he overcame Zuccon and Seck and was closed by Saro. Petrovic’s chance was even more serious as he missed the ball served by Energe a few steps from the goalkeeper. Rizzo, on the other side, saves Todisco’s header.
The turning point came in the second half. Zuccon bypasses the defense with a precise spoonful and Ravasio, left free, beats Rizzo with an acrobatics. Coppitelli changes more men and Cosenza pushes again: Todisco anticipates Almaviva on Petrovic’s serve, while an FVS review for an alleged hand by Seck does not lead to a penalty.
In the final Dalmazzi and Quieto do not take advantage of another favorable situation. The rossoblù went completely unbalanced in search of a 1-1 draw and Petito, with an empty net, scored the second goal. Performance with initiative and opportunities, but too little concrete in decisive moments.
