A deafening silence in the home of the Democratic Party in Cosenza. Yes, because if in these days of apparent calm the debate has diminished compared to the many open questions, the distances between the various democratic currents remain.
The same distances that have slowed down the path towards the appointment of the new provincial secretary, also triggering splits in the council group at Palazzo dei Bruzi, currently split into two sections, which proceed on separate tracks.
And so the commissionership seemed to be an obligatory path, perhaps not desired by all, but still considered, in some ways, the solution to the many problems faced by the party, even if the agreement on the figure to be placed at the helm of the Federation was struggling to be concluded, prolonging the negotiation times, when Rome had repeatedly urged the search for a unified line and invited divisions to be put aside.
We will therefore need a person capable of seeking synthesis, smoothing out polemical edges and broadening the front of consensus, so as to project the party into the framework of future electoral appointments, with the administrative elections insistently knocking on the doors of the Bruzio capital and the compactness of the centre-left still appearing to be confirmed, while the first candidates for the office of mayor are also appearing, some of which can be traced back precisely to the wide field.
