“We have started with the Region the plan to strengthen the Employment Centers to strengthen services and give the territory the opportunity to turn to the CPI to find adequate responses to the needs of citizens, workers and businesses”.
The regional councilor for labor said itGiovanni Calabreseduring the initiative, which took place this morning in Paola at the Sant’Agostino Auditorium, during which the agreement was signed between the Employment Center and hotel institutes in the presence of the Municipality, Anpal Servizi and the Order of accountants.
“It is an act – explained Calabrese – which brings together several institutions, a network agreement, it must be said, which will truly lead us to create the future together. Every day we face new challenges to give young people the opportunity, through taking charge, accompaniment, orientation and training in the field, to be directed towards employment”.
Councilor Calabrese, after listening to the various interventions, made an examination of the work implemented with the regional Department of Work and Welfare, represented by the general director Roberto Cosentino, who underlined that “the Employment Centers are ‘home municipality’ and with them the Region is embarking on a network path aimed at investing in the quality and quantity of services and Paola, in all of this, is a virtuous reality”.
“In the tourism sector, for example, various measures are being adopted on hiring incentives because – highlighted the Calabrese councilor – the peculiarities of the territory must be exploited and we must invest in this together. We are preparing targeted policies to repopulate our villages and we are working in this direction with local authorities, with businesses and employment centers that have a strategic function. Among the next projects, in addition to the virtual desk, we will include job account figures who will work to promote business services and will be close to companies for information and consultancy. We will focus on businesses, on the resourcefulness of young people and we believe that real work in Calabria is possible, eradicating undeclared work, the scourge of our Region”.
