A new kindergarten will be created in the Margherita district. It was in fact approved by the city council, on the proposal of the Councilor for Pnrr Luca Bossi, The executive project for the construction of the structure intended to host forty children of the popular neighborhood. The building that will be built on a single floor above ground is perfectly integrated with the context both by formal profile and for insertion in a wider territorial redesign that sees at the center the enhancement of the surrounding green areas and a constant dialogue between internal and outside.
This relationship between the spaces, which is the main reason for the project, guarantees the care, maintenance and management of the surrounding greenery because it is the protagonist of the daily life of the building and not a simple accessory element. An investment of € 1,032,000 claims from PNRR funds through the programming of the Administration. The entrance introduces the user directly to the “square”, the large common space responsible for welcoming, meeting, representations, group actions (free activities); As in the center of a small town, the paths that unravel from the main one are perceived and lead to the classrooms.
The 54 sqm reception area, which has visual continuity with the adjacent green area is completed with furnishings in Casellar who define the personal changing spaces for children. This area symbolically acts from the internal square, also with a recreational/teaching function and has a direct connection to the main corridor. The covered square is flanked by the green courts, expanding the space not only perceptively, but also as a real use on the beautiful spring days: the void of the court becomes the center and strength of the project, proposing the park within the school and meaning a continuum with the territory; The court is a moment of play for the little ones, but it is also breath throughout the building, which opens on it.
The connective system is defined by a main east-west axis, a corridor with large windows that has a minimum width 1.4 m and maximum 2.10 m. The nest is therefore divided into 2 main areas east and west connected by large corridor with continuous views of the green areas that interpret the constructed:
– To the west we find the section dedicated to the 15 lactants
– In the east we find the section dedicated to the 25 Divezzi, further divided into two minimum functional units dedicated respectively to semi-divezzi and different different.
“In addition to the possibility of offering a service in the Margherita district, families will not have to move to accompany their children, brings an induced, an indirect benefit to female employment. I thank the whole working group for the usual professionalism and in particular the architects Squillates and Squillacioti” declares the commissioner for PNRR Luca Bossi
