A heart divided between Crotone and Salernitana. Francesco Galeoto, 53 years old, from Palermo, will experience yet another special challenge at the “Arechi” on Monday. A former defender, he made 58 appearances for the rossoblù – with which he achieved the historic promotion from C to B – and 34 for the granata, where he was the protagonist of Delio Rossi’s journey to Serie A. «They are indelible memories because in both cases we set out without pretensions, with the aim of salvation. But the strength of the two groups, in two extraordinary years, allowed us to win. It was something exceptional,” recalls Galeoto.
