Class 2000, natural left -handed and talent on the attacking outside: Enrico Piovanello, with patience and maturity, is trying to carve out his space in the Crotone of Emilio Longo, with the determination of those who want to return to the protagonist. “I like dribblare, pointing the man, looking for the shot and serving assist to my companions – says Piovanello – This year I have a strong personal motivation: I want to find the goal continuously and contribute to the growth of the team”.
The landing in rossoblù was born from a bond of mutual esteem with the technician Longo. «I had already had the opportunity to face him as an opponent and we had talked to each other. I really like both a person and as a coach. I found a coach who believes in me so much and this is a huge stimulus ».
Paduan by birth, Piovanello arrived in Calabria with enthusiasm and spirit of adaptation. «I am very well found, my companions welcomed me great. Crotone is a quiet city of the sea, where you live well. It is far from home, but it’s not a problem ».
Out of the field, the rossoblù offensive exterior cultivates simple passions. «In my free time I like to play tennis or basketball, being with friends and family. And then there is my girlfriend, Giulia, who always supports me. My idol? Messi, I have been looking at Barcelona since 2011 ».
With a smile, Piovanello also recalls an anecdote from Juve Stabia’s times. «A partner of mine, who is now also here in Crotone, once put a mattress above another player’s car. Moments that are not forgotten ».
Today, however, there is only the present. «The goal is to grow, help the team and repay the trust of those who believe in me >>.
