Crotone’s preparation continues in view of the away match on Saturday afternoon at the “Zaccheria” against Delio Rossi’s Foggia, a challenge that promises to be intense and rich in technical content. Yesterday afternoon, the rossoblù underwent a joint training session against the Primavera team, useful for gaining minutes and testing tactical solutions in view of the match. The match, played with a good pace and competitive spirit, ended with a total of six goals which certified the group’s excellent form. Gomez, author of a brace, Murano, Sandri, Zunno and Bruno scored: a clear sign of vitality and concreteness from the offensive department, which appeared to be growing both in the precision of its conclusions and in its ability to create superiority in front of goal.
Between one half and another, the technical staff dedicated ample space to working on dead balls, an aspect on which Mr. Longo continues to insist consistently, aware of the importance of these episodes in determining the balance of matches.
At the end of the session, the coach gathered the team in midfield for a short collective discussion, underlining the importance of approaching each training session with concentration and a winning mentality. A new session is scheduled for this afternoon at the sports center, with technical-tactical exercises and possible training tests in view of the trip to Puglia. Saturday’s match will be refereed by Marco Di Loreto of the AIA section of Terni, former referee of Crotone-Brindisi 1-2 last season. Assisting him will be Luca Chiavaroli from Pescara and Matteo Lauri from Gubbio, fourth official Riccardo Tropiano from Bari.
