In this article we delve into the electoral data of the regional elections by analyzing it municipality by municipality. In the province of Crotone (27 municipalities) Occhiuto won 65.23% of the votes (equal to 40,167 in absolute value) against 34.09% of Tridico (equal to 20,993 in absolute value). 21 municipalities where Occhiuto won, 6 where Tridico won.
Territorial analysis
Occhiuto dominates along the Ionian coastal strip (from Cirò Marina to Isola Capo Rizzuto) and in the medium-high Crotone Marquisate. Tridico prevails only in a small group of inland municipalities (area between Mesoraca, Santa Severina and Scandale). Overall, the province of Crotone confirms itself as one of the strongholds of the Calabrian centre-right (in Cirò Marina the mayor and president of the Province, Sergio Ferrari, received huge support and the centre-right reached 81.25% at coalition level).
