Road accident Loc. Strada del Petilino SP 63. Around 5.58pm the operations room of the Crotone fire brigade command was alerted for a road accident on the SP 63 road of Petilino.
Upon arrival on site there were two vehicles, a van with a person and a Fiat Punto also with only the driver, involved in a head-on collision, one of the two taken to hospital by the 118 medics who arrived on site, the other fortunately unharmed.
The intervention of the firefighters resulted in the safety of the vehicles, from which fluids were leaking from the engine after the strong impact, and in the surrounding area, with the police also on site to investigate the case.
