The case of the attack on the municipal councilor Ernesto Ioppoli by the mayor of Crotone Vincenzo Voce has ended up in Parliament. The deputy of the 5 Star Movement Vittoria Baldino asked, in a briefing to the Ministry of the Interior Matteo Piantedosi, to delve deeper into the matter. In particular, he wants to know «which investigations have been started; whether the prefect intervened and how; whether the conditions exist to guarantee the functioning of the entity; whether the conditions exist for any consequential acts but above all what is happening in our institutions?”.
As will be remembered, last October 28, the majority councilor Ioppoli, in a press release, reported to the city that he had received kicks and pushes from the mayor, during a political meeting which took place in the Provincial Palace in the presence of the president Sergio Ferrari (who did not say a word on the matter). Voice, the next day he resigned apologizing to everyone; but last November 10, with a few lines of a press release, he announced the withdrawal of his resignation, sending his political opponents into a rage.
