The majority closes ranks and with a document signed by 18 councilors launches an appeal to the resigning mayor: «Reconsider your decision and confirm your commitment to leading the Administration».
An exhortation that arrived in the same hours in which the majority councilor Ernesto Ioppoli announced that he had taken steps to «file a complaint against the engineer. Vincenzo Voce at the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Crotone for the facts dating back to 10/27/2025″. From that episode – which occurred during a meeting in the Province – with the councilor who said he was hit by two punches and a kick that Voce would have given him, arose the story of the mayor’s resignation following the public apology made by Voce himself to the councillor.
