CUS Unical Women achieves the most awaited objective of the season: remaining in the national Serie C championship. On the final day, full of tension, the yellow-green team snatched a precious 1-1 on the Lecce Women pitch, gaining the point needed to celebrate salvation at the end of a year faced with determination and unity.
The “Unical model” between identity and young people
The result goes beyond simple sporting data. The team coached by Luisa Orlando represents a well-defined project: entirely Calabrian staff and staff, strong connection with the territory and integration between study and competitive sport. Many athletes are in fact students at the University of Calabria, confirming the validity of the “dual career” model.
