The deadline for submitting applications for aid for damage to farm structures caused by the exceptional meteorological events that occurred in Sicily starting from 18 January 2026 has been extended to midnight on 27 July 2026. The deadline for submitting applications was initially scheduled by Agea, the Agency for agricultural disbursements, for 25 July.
Agricultural businesses, single or associated, registered with the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Crafts and Agriculture, in possession of a company file and which have suffered damage to company structures following adverse events between January and February 2026, can submit an application for aid. The applications must be completed and sent, under penalty of forfeiture, exclusively electronically using the procedure on the portal www.sian.it in the “administrative documents” section by selecting “cyclone harry – structures” from 10 July and no later than midnight on 27 July 2026. A specific notice will be issued regarding the damage suffered by the productions.
