After three hours of the council chamber, the Assize Court inflicted the sentence of 13 years of imprisonment to a dance instructor of a municipality in the province of Messina accused of sexual violence on at least three minors, including a relative. The Barcelona prosecutor, Giuseppe Verzera had asked for the defendant for the sentence of 12 years and 10 months. According to the accusation, the instructor taking advantage of both the hours of lessons in the gym and of the trust that had granted him the parents of the very young victims who did not even reach 14 years of age, abused the kids. After the parents’ complaint, the man had been arrested by the carabinieri in February last year.
