Angelo Michele Luciano intervenes on the tragic episode that cost the 31-year-old’s life and specifies that the young man was on the public road in front of the square. The visual connection created by some shots of the workshop was also contested.
«Anthony Ieranò was not an employee of the mechanical workshop and was not working on behalf of the business». This was stated by Angelo Michele Luciano, owner of the workshop in front of which the 31-year-old lost his life while working on a car.
In a note, Luciano underlines that the young man “was not inside the workshop” and “he was not even in the square outside the business”. According to what was reported by the owner, Ieranò was on the public road in front of the square, for reasons that will have to be ascertained.
«The workshop was closed for holidays»
Luciano also highlights that, at the time of the tragic episode, the workshop was closed for holidays and there was no work activity in progress.
The owner then reiterates that what happened “did not occur inside the business or in its yard and does not in any way concern the activity of the workshop, its owner or its employees”.
The complaints about the images
Finally, the entrepreneur complains that shots were taken “through the railings of the gate, facing inside the private property of the workshop and towards the vehicles parked there”.
According to Luciano, those images would have contributed to creating “a visual and narrative connection between what happened and the workshop’s activity which does not correspond to reality”.
