Didacta Sicily, starting on Thursday: spotlights on AI, school dropout and ITS Academy

It opens on Thursday 12th at 9.30 am in the spaces of SICILIAFIERA Exhibition Meeting Hub in Misterbiancoin the province of Catania, the second edition of Didacta Italia Sicilian Editionthe most important event dedicated to training and educational innovation, which will be dedicated to AI, as the payoff explains “A look at the future: artificial intelligence”.

The fair (open every day from 9.30 to 18.30, info on www.fieradidacta.it ) proposes 535 events in total, of which 119 of the scientific program and 416 offered by institutions and companies, is aimed at all levels of education and training: nursery, nursery, primary, lower and upper secondary schools, ITS professional institutes, universities, scientific research and professional training institutes, as well as companies and professionals. The frontiers of AI in the classroom

Artificial intelligence will be the center of attention on this first day with two international conferences. We start at 2 pm with the conference organized by Indire entitled Artificial intelligence and school, which will explore the intersection between AI and education for the education of future generations. Following (4pm) the conference entitled Artificial intelligence: what it is, how it works and what we can expect in the coming years, with the participation of world-renowned Italian and foreign researchers and programmers. The opportunities, challenges and transformative potential of AI in the field of Italian education and schools are being examined.

Educational poverty and school dropout

Also on Thursday 12 October at the seminar scheduled for 2 pm (Seminar Room 1 – Pavilion C2) we will talk about “Educational poverty, school dropout, education in legality: three closely linked aspects”. Among the speakers Enrico Trantino, mayor of the metropolitan city of Catania, Andrea Guzzardi, councilor for school policies of the Municipality of Catania, mons. The opportunities of the ITS Academy

The seminar is dedicated to the ITS Academy (Higher Technological Institutes) and their fundamental role in promoting the technological-professional training chain “The ITS Academy: teaching for the work involved in the supply chain” (4pm, Seminar Room 1 – Pavilion C2).
