«After the motorways, where diesel stands at 2.175 euros per litre, compared to the road network, it is in Bolzano that the most expensive diesel in Italy is sold, 2.124 euros per litre. The silver medal goes to Sicily with 2.113 euros, in third place is Calabria, which today exceeds 2.1 euros (2.108 euros)”. This was stated by Massimiliano Dona, president of the National Consumers Union, on the basis of Mimit data.
Campania is just outside the podium, Unc reveals, on the threshold of exactly 2.1 euros. Following in the ranking of the regions that sell the most expensive diesel are Molise, Basilicata and Friuli Venezia Giulia, all three in fifth place with 2,097 euros, then Puglia and Trento. Valle d’Aosta closes the top ten of the worst with 2,082 euros. The lowest prices in the Marche (2,059 euros), in second place Veneto (2,063) and in third place of the virtuous Umbria (2,064).
The greatest increase in Valle d’Aosta
In all Italian regions, except Sicily where the price, already skyrocketing, has remained stable, diesel has resumed its run. The greatest increase occurred in Valle d’Aosta where in one day diesel costs 2.7 cents more per liter and a 50-litre tank costs 1.35 euros more than yesterday. Silver medal for Bolzano (+2.3 cents per litre, +1.15 euros for a full tank), bronze medal for Liguria (+2.2 cents per litre, +1.1 euros per refueling).
Comparison with July 27th
Compared to July 27, the last day before the cut of 17 cents per liter of diesel taxes, Molise wins, displacing yesterday’s record of Campania, and where they save, compared to July 27, 4.40 euros in full: but 4.14 euros are missing compared to the theoretical price expected at the same industrial price. In second place Puglia (-3.94 euros full), in third place Calabria, ex aequo with Campania (-3.89 euros).
