The quantities of drugs and consignments of 20-30 kilograms of marijuana traveled punctually on the Reggio-Rosarno-Pizzo axis. The organisation’s operational base was set up in the plain, the narcotics warehouses in agricultural land in the “Chieppi” district in Rosarno, and the production in an agricultural cooperative on the outskirts of Pizzo Calabro. And the shipments – even if the rule was direct collection in the Rosarno hinterland – took place everywhere: in Reggio above all, with customers also in the Catania area. The drug gang – 13 under investigation for possession, production and trade of narcotic substances, such as marijuana – were reached in recent days by the provision of notice of the conclusions of the investigations signed by the deputy prosecutor Lucia Spirito with the approval of the deputy prosecutor of Reggio Calabria , Stefano Musolino.
