Elections in Messina: from the “story” to the program, Basile begins the second phase

The cornerstones are those of the European Green Deal, the EU strategy that looks to 2050 as the goal of a sustainable Europe. There are fourteen lines of action and they represent the ideal continuity between what has been done so far and what Federico Basile, in proposing himself to the city after his resignation two months ago, intends to do between now and 2031. Thus the mayoral candidate from the South calls North moves from the story phase, which characterized the long series of press conferences on Tuesday morning (which began in “almost” unsuspecting times, at the end of October), to that of the programme, which will involve the next press conferences. At least until the first “gong” on April 29th, the day of the presentation of the lists, with appointments in rapid succession compared to the meetings with civil society and the technical-scientific committee chosen by Basile himself and the leader Cateno De Luca, which instead are held every Friday in Santa Maria Alemanna.
Yesterday, in the Vittorio Emanuele gallery, Basile did the one-man show, without De Luca or other guests, and reviewed, albeit in brief, the salient points of a program that appeared decidedly dense. The key elements of the European Green Deal (ecological, digital, economic and social transition) are a starting point, for Basile.
