Electoral upheavals in Rometta. Nino Visalli takes a step back and forms a new alliance with the mayoral candidate Melania Messina. They will therefore compete together in the municipal elections. In recent days, within the “Noi con Voi” group, in support of Nino Visalli's candidacy, there have been separations and splits, which have definitively compromised the original and unitary project. After various negotiations, Visalli, together with the supporters who guaranteed him trust until the end, decided to join the “Generazione Rometta 2024” group, which supports the candidacy of Melania Messina, and therefore no longer compete with her list, light of recent events. The reasons will be provided during the day, but in the meantime Visalli makes it known that “It was a choice made for the good of the territory. It was not a solitary decision, but shared with those who, until the end, remained faithful to the group We with you”. At this point the challengers are no longer three but two. TO
competing for the highest position in the Municipality are Melania Messina and Nino Cirino, an expression of the outgoing municipal administration and of the “Vivi Rometta” group.
