A 1 million pound (more than 1 million euro) scratch card has sparked a fierce legal dispute between Michael Cartlidge and Charlotte Cox, a former couple from Spalding, in the county of Lincolnshire, England. Their story took a dramatic turn when, after winning, Charlotte left Michael, declaring herself the sole holder of the prize. The Sun reports it.
Michael, claiming he played a crucial role in purchasing the ticket, is now threatening to launch a legal battle to claim half of the prize money. Lottery managers, however, confirmed Charlotte as the only winner.
