“The seizure violated the criterion of proportionality and adequacy which legitimizes its use.” It is part of the motivation with which the investigating judge Mario Santoemma revoked the seizure aimed at confiscating the companies Food & More srl and Paoletti srl, replacing the measure with judicial control. A decision that partially accepts the request made by Paoletti’s lawyers, Sergio Rotundo and Francesco Gambardella, in the hearing on 20 October and supported by a technical report. The scenario resulting from the investigation which last February brought to light the alleged exploitation of workers in the supermarkets of the Paoletti group has therefore changed: the entrepreneur Paolo Paoletti and 5 other people are on trial in an abbreviated procedure (in the other line of proceedings in the ordinary procedure the two companies appear as civilly liable).
