McLaren’s Lando Norris took pole position in the Dutch GP15th round of the Formula 1 world championship. The British driver will have Max Verstappen with Red Bull at his side on the front row, while Oscar Piastri on McLaren and George Russell with Mercedes will start on the second row. Sixth place and third row for Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari. Carlos Sainz and Lewis Hamilton were left out of Q3, with the Ferrari driver starting eleventh tomorrow ahead of the British Mercedes driver.
Norris inflicted a gap of over three tenths on Verstappen and half a second on his teammate Piastri. Leclerc was around nine tenths behind the Briton and will be alongside Sergio Perez on the grid tomorrow. Fernando Alosno (Aston Martin) and Alex Albon (Williams) will start on the fourth row, with Lance Stroll (Aston Matin) and Pierre Gasly (Alpine) in fifth.
