Max Verstappen is back to dominating in Formula 1. The Red Bull driver, after the successes in Sepang and in yesterday’s Sprint Race, also triumphs in the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix (where he had never won before in his career). A clear path, including pole position, that of the four-time world champion, who keeps his rivals at a safe distance and wins his 73rd victory in F1. Charles Leclerc, following suit, took Ferrari to the second step of the podium, ahead of an excellent Andrea Kimi Antonelli, who achieved third position and further increased his advantage over George Russell, who started from the back of the grid and was “only” ninth upon arrival. Now the Emilian is +102 on the Briton and in Austin, in the next GP, he will have the first match point to win the world title, which an Italian driver has not won since 1953. The other Red of Lewis Hamilton, however, pays for an incorrect strategy and does not go beyond sixth place, behind the two McLarens of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, fourth and fifth respectively. Completing the top 10 of the day are Liam Lawson (Racing Bulls), Nico Hulkenberg (Audi) and Isack Hadjar (Red Bull). Formula 1 will return to the track in Austin on the weekend of October 25th for the United States Grand Prix.
