Last week of November of intense pace for Fair Play Messina: victories for the U14 Regional teams, victories for the U15 and U17 Elite teams and an away victory for the U17 Provincial teams. Next Gen and Atletico Messina were defeated in their weekly matches in the U15 Provincial championship.
Third victory in the championship for Mr. Moschella’s U17 Elite: 1-2 victory at the “Bonaiuto Somma” in Mascalucia against Team Sport Millenium. The guest starting eleven fielded by Mr. Moschella is Lembo Luscari, Chillemi, Minissale, Scilio, Deodato, Sofia, Alessi, Maccarrone, De Maria, Foscolo and Franco. The first conclusion comes from the guest and comes in the 7th minute with Foscolo but is easily controlled by Belgiorno. In the 9th minute, a local opportunity: on the development of the corner from the right, insertion of Bruno which Lembo Luscari pays attention to. In the 15th minute there was a serpentine on the right by De Maria but Belgiorno intervened once again, not in an irresistible way. After two minutes the advantage comes for the guests: a free kick taken by Sofia, the ball goes to the post to the left of Belgiorno who is then unlucky to see the ball crash behind him. Juventus advantage, overall deserved for the convinced and determined approach. Teamsport tries in the 21st minute with a shot from Caraffa which Lembo Luscari doesn’t let himself be intimidated by. In the 39th minute Fair Play is still dangerous, Alessi’s initiative with the ball at his feet, is a relief for Franco who once again exalts Belgiorno with an aerial attack. Shortly after, Teamsport strikes a blow, Lo Cicero’s number going with personality to the back, assist for Emerson who goes for the shot, his protests for a belt against him which the referee does not rectify. Before the end of the first half, Caraffa gets a double yellow who overdoes it in a gesture of annoyance by kicking the ball, Teamsport forced to play the entire second half with one man less.
In the second half, Fair Play doubled their lead in the 5th minute: great work on the right lane by De Maria who served a ball in the middle, a ball not contained by Belgiorno and a winning tap by Ludovico Franco. At 18′ Sofia’s number in a handkerchief, service for the onrushing Galipo who kicks centrally, easy for Belgiorno to catch. After three minutes again Sofia, the most continuous among the Juventus ranks, with many meters to cover, kicks but finds an attentive Belgiorno that keeps Teamsport alive. In the 69th minute Teamsport came close to making it 1-2 with Lo Cicero hitting the post. After six minutes the hosts find the goal that shortens the distance: Raciti earns the penalty that can reopen the account: Minissale’s hand is not condoned by the referee who indicates the extremes for the penalty kick taken centrally by Emerson. In the 36th minute the locals try with Raciti who, from a free kick, misses the target. In the 40th minute La Scala flies from De Maria’s well-calibrated, strong and precise free kick. The last chance of the match is for Fair Play: Tutino comes face to face with the goalkeeper but has to deal with a super La Scala that denies him the 3-1. Fair Play wins, reaching 9th in the rankings. Next match Sunday 8 December at home against Accademia Siracusa.
Settebello U15 Elite winning 7-2 at the “Sorbello Stadium” against La Meridiana. Mister Cucinotta fields Falcone, Marino, Santoro, Colozzi, Ruggeri, Ieni, Staiti, Lucifora, La Monaca, Schepisi and Bombaci. The first goal goes to the locals in the 6th minute: Bombaci runs towards goal, serves in the middle for Schepisi who makes it 1-0. After four minutes Staiti catches a jewel for Lucifora, on the first shot he finds an opponent, on the second he finds the net for Juventus’ double advantage. In the 15th minute La Meridiana returns: Corpace serves Maugeri who finds a great goal and beats Falcone for 2-1. But the hosts were not willing and in the 19th minute they moved up to +2: a defensive error by Busà who fed Faro, recovered Schepisi who passed it to Bombaci and the goal made it 3-1. In the second half in the 15th minute Fair Play again Messina: La Monaca enters the area, swerves with her right foot but Schepisi takes advantage of Faro’s rebound and makes it 4-1. Eight minutes later another sharp performance from Mister Cucinotta’s boys: from a corner action Marino puts it in the middle for La Monaca who hits the crossbar in front of goal, an erroneous clearance which favors the arrival of Maggiari from outside the area who finds a jewel at the intersection of the poles. At 26′ the sixth goal arrives: Schepisi on the left puts it in for Schepis who controls and with his left foot he finds the 6-1. Shortly afterwards La Monaca puts it in the middle for Lucifora who scores the 7-1 and a personal double, a superlative performance from Fair Play. There is time in the 34th minute for Mammana’s guest goal: Magno kicks onto Santoro’s left hand and according to the match director there are conditions for a penalty kick, Mammana appears on the spot and displaces Villari and makes it 7-2 . Thus it ends at the “Sorbello Stadium”, Fair Play wins and, next week, will face the first in the ranking, 5 points away, Accademia Siracusa.
Victories for Fair Play Messina U14 both in the Regional Under 14 championship Provincial Phase – Messina – Group A and in the Giovanissimi Provinciali U14 championship – Messina – Group E. Mister Leto’s boys win clearly 3-6 at the “Comunale Bucalo” against AGA Messina Sq. B thanks to a brace from D’Agostino and goals from Faliti, Bernava on a penalty, Schepis and Franco. External victory also for Mr. Barreca’s team: poker of goals in the Regional U14 match, corsairs on the AGA Messina Sq. B pitch thanks to Gervasj’s brace and the remaining goals from La Porta and Di Blasi. The next match will be on December 8th at home against Vivi Don Bosco Sq. B.
Fifth consecutive success for Next Gen in the U17 Allievi Provinciali championship – Messina – Group B. At the “Comunale di Ali Terme” they finished 0-4 against Valdinisi Calcio. Summa, who scored a brace, De Clario and Di Salvo scored for the Bianconeri. Next match Saturday 7 December at home against Garden Club Messina. However, both Atletico Messina and Next Gen lost in the Giovanissimi Provinciali U15 – Messina – Group B championship. The former lost 0-1 at the “Comunale Bonanno” against Calcio Trinacria Messina. Next Gen, however, lost 1-3 at home against Messana. Guests ahead in the 33rd minute: throw-in, wrong reading of the locals, Scandura takes advantage and puts in Costa, own goal and 0-1 Messana. After two minutes the Giallorossi’s double advantage: gored by Caruso who sends Scandura into the goal, volleyed lob and 0-2 to the visitors. In the second half they shorten the score: Nuccio serves Giliberto who finds the perfect turn and makes it 2-1 by beating Passari. Messana closes the match in the 60th minute with a free kick: the ball is placed in the middle for Sapienza’s scissors kick which makes it 1-3. Thus it ends with Messana winning and taking the lead and becoming the leaders. In the next match Atletico Messina will play away from home on Tuesday 17 December against Passion Sport while Next Gen will face Real Gescal Sq. B at home on Saturday 14 December.
