He beat two women and walked away without leaving a trace. An African citizen who, the day before yesterday, sent two ladies to hospital is still walking around undisturbed. Both were attacked, with a punch in the face, in two separate incidents and locations in the Bruzia urban area.
The first act of violence took place in Piazza delle Provincie, in the now infamous bus terminal. It was just after 11am when the African without reason – without reason is a way of saying, an intercalary, given that no reason would justify such brutal behavior – punched a woman in the face with a resounding punch, a resident of Vadue, who was going to wait for the bus with shopping bags in hand. A punch in the face sent the woman reeling to the ground. The African – the witnesses said – remained for a few seconds staring at her and then walked away as if nothing had happened. The woman was helped by the people present and given her condition – she suffered swelling to her face, a bruised knee and a fractured arm – the intervention of an ambulance from 118 was necessary. No one, however, apparently had the good sense to call the police into action. The woman was then transferred to the emergency room where she is still hospitalized for checks.
Same scene or almost, shortly after, in via Caloprese, near the INPS headquarters. The woman targeted by the non-EU citizen – a young man apparently thirty years old, tall and quite robust – had just left a housewares and gift shop. He didn’t have time to realize who was in front of him. The punch in the face took her by surprise and devastated her features.
