THE’Iran says it is ready to reach a “reassuring” agreement with the United States on nuclear power and confirms that it has agreed with Washington on a new round of talks to be held shortly, probably as early as next week. But in the meantime, through the words of Tehran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, he underlines that “Nothing will stop the enrichment of uranium, not even in the event of war”. American military pressure “does not intimidate” the Islamic Republic, he added.
New round of talks already in the next few days
Tehran therefore confirms the start of a new round of negotiations with the USA, in an attempt to reopen dialogue on the nuclear dossier.
The warning: “Quick response to any assault”
But Iran warns that it remains ready to provide a response decisive and rapid to any threat, aggression or miscalculation on the part of the enemies.
Araghchi: “If they attack us we will hit US bases in the region”
