A woman was hit this morning at school time on via Escrivà immediately after dropping her child off at school. An episode which fortunately, by fate or luck, did not turn into a real tragedy. The accident occurred in the area of the complex which houses several schools and which, around 8:30 in the morning, every day, becomes a real traffic jam of horns, buses, cars and pupils, many of whom are accompanied by their parents as there are also primary schools and a middle school. And it is at this juncture that the woman, while she was crossing the pedestrian crossing, was hit by a car, whose driver immediately stopped to provide assistance. The woman, despite the impact, remained alert and conscious and also received first aid from other parents who were present at the time of the impact, while the 118 emergency service was immediately alerted. The doctors loaded her into the ambulance and transferred her to the emergency room of the Nicola Giannettasio hospital in Rossano, where she underwent all the routine tests.
