Another accident at work in the Vibo area. This time in Monterosso Calabro, where in the late morning of today a 30-year-old worker, resident in Jonadi, who was working on bituminizing an area, fell into a ravine more than 30 meters deep. Those present immediately raised the alarm, alerting the emergency services: the carabinieri from the local station, two teams of firefighters and the 118 health workers arrived on the scene. After the recovery operations, which were complex and long due to the impervious area and the dense vegetation, the 118 team provided the first medical intervention to the man, then requesting the intervention of the air ambulance which transported him to the hospital in Lamezia Terme, where he is now hospitalized. From what we understand, the worker suffered several traumas, but is not in any worrying condition.
