Fire brigade teams from the Reggio Calabria Command have been busy since around 5.35pm in Via Calomeno Sud due to a fire that affected a country house with a wooden and masonry structure. Three teams are operating on site, with the support of a water supply tanker.
The intervention is currently under control and the work of extinguishing the last outbreaks continues.
The firefighters’ operations succeeded in limiting the fire and making the area safe, in order to avoid the spread of flames to the entire structure.
The Carabinieri were also present on site to carry out their duties.
