The meeting with the leaders of the Department of Fire Brigade and the mayors of the Municipalities of Fuscaldo and Paola for the construction of the new offices of the Fire Brigade that will arise in the territories already identified by the two municipalities was held today at the Ministry of the Interior. The meeting took place in the presence of the prisco and iron undersecretaries. “With the aim of increasingly guaranteeing better security conditions especially during the summer season, – explains a note – it was agreed to strengthen the presence of the firefighters with the construction of a new detachment to Paola and a summer resident of the regional mobile column in the municipality of Fuscaldo”.
“These are interventions for about 8 million euros to be worth on financial programming 2025-2027- said the Undersecretaries Iron and Priso- which demonstrate the attention of the government for the Calabrian territory. Thanks to the two new garrisons, in fact, greater levels of public rescue efficiency will be guaranteed in the area of the Upper Tyrrhenian-Cosentine ».
