Having reached agreement on a very broad field, with a single list for the Democratic Party, the Green-Left Alliance, +Europe, the 5 Star Movement and the reformist House, the first moves are outlined, but not without problems. For the Democratic Party, Antonino Schinella, resigning provincial councilor and mayor of Arena, will be safe in the field; Among the major candidates there is, then, Antonio Carchedi, opposition city councilor of Philadelphia. In the reformist house, the candidacies of Nicola Papa, another resigning provincial councilor and deputy mayor of Brognarturo, and Carmine Mangiardi, deputy mayor of Sorianello and among the few non-resigning councilors of the dissolved provincial council are certain.
