“Zaccheria” bewitched. Cosenza interrupts its positive streak at the end of an incredible match in which the Sila team hurt themselves: they wasted two penalties and conceded as many avoidable goals. First place moves away. Debut with the rossoblù shirt for the young Pompeii goalkeeper. His unbeaten streak lasted just seven minutes. Foggia finds the advantage with D’Amico. The Rossoneri player gallops with the ball at his feet for over sixty meters after Langella’s error, who, trying to fuel the Bruzia action, loses the ball and exposes the Sila team, totally exposed after a favorable corner. Buscè’s team only gained momentum as the minutes passed but the opponent’s goal held up. When Foggia capitulates in the 24th minute, the referee signals D’Orazio for an offside position. Pompei avoids the Apulian doubling with a backstroke following Garofalo’s header. The last chance of the first half goes to Mazzocchi but his header goes wide.
The second half opens with Ricciardi replacing Dalle Mura. A few minutes later the Roman is overwhelmed by the opposing goalkeeper. Maresca, called back to the monitor, takes a long time before awarding the obvious penalty to the Wolves. Garritano, however, raises his sights too much. The equalizer, however, came 14′ from the ninetieth minute. Cosenza reached the 1-1 with Ricciardi, quick to send Dametto’s previous attempt behind Perucchini, which was involuntarily stopped by Beretta, who replaced Langella.
Cosenza pushes with nerves and wins another penalty: Morelli stops Garritano’s shot with his hand. After the FVS, Maresca changes his first decision. The midfielder from Cosenza, however, lets himself be hypnotized by Perucchini. The joke is just around the corner and it materializes in the hundredth minute when Winkelmann turns the home team’s 2-1 into the net following a corner.
