Opening up to the territory, starting a constant discussion on current issues and problems, but also on the great potential still to be expressed, and taking root to expand the great blue family. On this basis, the project also began in the Vibo area series of meetings entitled “Radici”, organized by the regional coordination of Forza Italia and, in Vibo Valentia, by the provincial coordination led by Michele Comito.
The first of the four events scheduled in the province took place yesterday afternoon in Mileto, in the town hall. The highest representatives of the party were present: the regional coordinator Francesco Cannizzarothe deputy Giovanni Arruzzolothe regional councilor Rosario Vari, the deputy regional coordinator Emanuele Iona.
The meeting was opened by coordinator Comito who greeted the large audience made up of mayors, administrators and citizens of the area. The owner of the house, the mayor, also extended his greetings Lucky Jordanto whom those present gave a big round of applause as a sign of closeness to the ministry’s recent decision not to proceed with the dissolution of the elective bodies.
In Comito’s speech, he highlighted the great possibilities of the Vibo area and the necessary push that the centre-right regional government wants to give to some dossiers: from project on the road connecting the motorway junction and the Natuzza sanctuary in Paravati with the aim of supporting religious tourism up to the great themes so dear to the territory, as the mayors who spoke had the opportunity to explain: purification, the waste cycle, water. During the speeches – during which there was no shortage of praise and thanks for the Hon. Giuseppe Mangialavori for having obtained a 36 million euro loan divided across all 50 municipalities in the Vibo area regardless of political color – the fundamental support of the Calabria Region for the agricultural sector, particularly developed in the Mileto area, then emerged.
The heart of the meeting was the speech of the Hon. Cannizzaro, who, after expressing appreciation for the party’s activity in Vibo under the guidance of Comito and the entire team of leaders, underlined the strategic role of the Region and of President Roberto Occhiuto also in the national political panoramaexplaining how the support of the administrators and of the entire party becomes extremely important also for the action to be developed in the parliamentary halls. Concepts then reiterated by the Hon. Arruzzolo and, as far as the Region is concerned, by councilor Varì, who is continuing to work hard to guarantee support and resources for the entire productive and entrepreneurial sector.
The meetings will continue in the coming weeks throughout Calabria and with three other appointments planned in the province of Vibo Valentia.
