This is the philosophy of Randonnée of the greenhousesthe sporting event with a strong promotional connotation, at the 4th edition, which last weekend started by Amaroni, Città del Miele della Calabria, on the initiative of the Municipality of Amaroni, in partnership with the local Pro Loco tourist association, technical support and the participation of professionals and bicycle lovers from the capital, the architects of the event from the first edition.
To welcome the Roman bikers friends, led by the Amaronese Pietro Olivadoti, the mayor Luigi Ruggiero, together with the city council, the president of the Pro Loco Francesca Pungitore, numerous fans of the two wheels, into a municipal room that for the occasion has transformed into an exhibition showcase of the beauties and Calabrian goodness, in the lead the honey in the Amaroni Mieli brand-the Calabria vouchers.
The Randonnée kicked off on June 21 in the early hours of the morning with Start from Palazzo Canale, home of the Amaroni town hall, in a special edition to which the Millennium cycle teams, Cristini cycles, disoflex, Ciampino Bike, Asd Picar, Csain Lazio, and numerous other Calabrian enthusiasts who came to break the group towards a sensorial journey in total harmony with nature, contributed.
A 165 km route with an alternative tourist cycle itinerary, at the heart of the roots of a Calabiasseness to be lived and discovering, also characterized by visits to sites of interest and tasting areas with products and goodness Calabrian, which has gone through over 20 municipalities of the provinces of Catanzaro, Vibo Valentia and Reggio Calabria, crossing the Apennine cycle path and that of the Serre Park.
Places and enchanting sites were the natural setting of this particular promotional event: the terrace on the Ionian Sea that opens up by taking down by Stalettì, Badolato, Bivongi, Stilo, Ferdinandea, the Certosa di Serra San Bruno, the monoliths of Nardo di Pace, the hazelnut of Cardinal, to name a few.
To enrich the event, enhancing the communicative value of the territory, the photographic competition “Armonia in a shot”. An award to the photograph of Davide Gallo who summarized the value of the group, sharing, social ties, the authentic feeling of welcome, the beauty of the rural landscape.
The Randonnée delle Serre is an event organized by the Municipality of Amaroni within the “Sensi on marching: harmony in experiential courses by bicycle” project, admitted to financing as part of the “Bike in common” initiative promoted by the Minister for Sport and young people, with the support of the Department for Sport, through Sport and Health Spa (“Sport and Health”) and the National Association of Italian Municipalities – ANCI.
