Counter exploitation for “free, dignified and safe” work, protect people’s dignity. These are the themes at the center of the round table which took place at the Madonna della Salute parish of Amendolara Marina, as part of an initiative promoted by the Calabrian Episcopal Conference to remember the four laborers killed on 1 June. The day began with a moment of reflection and prayer at the service station on Highway 106, site of the massacre, where a wreath of flowers was laid.
The institutions and the voices of the debate
Speaking during the discussion were, among others, Msgr. Francesco Savino, bishop of the diocese of Cassano all’Ionio and vice-president of the CEI; the prefect of Cosenza, Rosa Maria Padovano; mgr.
