«We have an appointment on October 15th with the Eni manager, Alessandro Cao». This is what was communicated in yesterday’s question time by the mayor, Enzo Romeo, in response to the question produced by the opposition group “Cuore vibonese” regarding Eni’s coastal deposits. In this regard, councilor Danilo Tucci, who presented the question, recommended the mayor to: “Keep a firm grip, as Eni’s deposits are extremely dangerous.” But it was above all the Southern Petroli issue, for which relocation negotiations have been ongoing for some time, that took center stage. Councilor Carmen Corrado (FI) questioned the mayor, asking about the status of the case and the outcome of the meetings, including ministerial ones, announced months ago, as well as the promised feasibility studies.
