One of the richest weekends of the live summer in Catania, the one coming from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd August with three of the most anticipated concerts of the live music season underway on the stage of Villa Bellini as part of the Catania Summer Fest 2026 program of events. Added to which is the one tonight in Messina, at the Arena Capo Peloro with the extraordinary voice of Fiorella Mannoia.
The Sotto Il Vulcano Fest event organized by Puntoeacapo Srl with the artistic direction of Nuccio La Ferlita presents three names of appeal to the general public, starting with the youngest fans. In fact, we start on August 21st with the rapper Gemitaiz who will stop in Catania with his “ELSEWHERE LIVE TOUR 2026”

The live performance gives new shape to the songs from “ELSEWHERE”, the artist’s latest album, through unreleased arrangements created together with a lineup of excellent musicians. The result is a constantly evolving set, where each date takes on its own identity thanks to the dialogue between instruments, interpretation and audience.
Alongside the new productions, some of the pieces that have marked Gemitaiz’s career find space, in a setlist that alternates impact, intensity and more intimate moments, restoring all the nuances of his writing.
Every arrangement, every pause and every variation contributes to building a show in which the music takes shape through the constant dialogue between stage and audience. The live accompanies the audience into Gemitaiz’s creative universe, suspended between introspection and instinct, where each song adds a piece to a personal story. The strength of the live rapper does not lie in the search for perfection, but in the truth. He speaks little and mostly lets the songs tell it. When he intervenes he does so naturally, without scripts, maintaining the spontaneity that has always characterized his concerts.
On stage Gemitaiz is accompanied by Rodrigo D’Erasmo on violin, Fabio Rondanini on drums, Frenetik on guitars, Orange on bass, Raffaele “Rabbo” Scogna on piano and Mixer T on synths: a lineup that enriches each song, making each event unique.
Saturday 22nd August the Negramaros at Villa Bellini
On Saturday 22 August the protagonists on the stage of Villa Bellini will be Negramaro, who will arrive in Catania after the stop in Palermo which will see them perform on 21 August at the Paolo Borsellino Velodromo with the live concert organized by Puntoeacapo in collaboration with GoMad Concerti and with the Municipality of Palermo for the Palermo Live 2026 la Grande Estate programme.
“An still simple story” is a special tour, conceived as a big collective embrace: an unmissable setlist, a gift to the fans who have followed every stage of Negramaro’s history over these twenty years, and a way to retrace together all the great hits that have made their journey unmistakable. The show marks the last chance to see the band live before a long hiatus.

Sunday 23 August Fiorella Mannoia
On Sunday 23 August the most famous and loved songs by Ivano Fossati and Fabrizio De André will resonate at Villa Bellini with the unmistakable voice of Fiorella Mannoia in “Fiorella canta Fabrizio e Ivano – Anime Salve”. The first Sicilian stop of the tour will be held on Saturday 22 August in Messina, at the Capo Peloro Arena with organization by Puntoeacapo in collaboration with Il Botteghino and the Municipality of Messina as part of the “Messina City of Music and Events 2025-2026” project.
After Messina it will be Catania’s turn. The artist presents a new project which is a powerful and intense journey into the repertoire of two of the greatest and most influential singer-songwriters of all time, crucial figures for his career and his artistic history, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the milestone album in the history of Italian music, Faber’s last creative testament, created together with Fossati. In the setlist, unforgettable songs from that album – awarded the Targa Tenco – such as Khorakhane And Boundless prayerto the most beloved successes already intertwined with Fiorella’s repertoire and heart, up to new interpretations of masterpieces by the two masters, including Piero’s war, The fisherman, The nights of May And There’s time.
