Years after the recognition, by UNESCO, of the National Pollino and Aspromonte parks in the global network of Geoparchi (Global Geopark Network), the Region intends to enhance the “main uniqueness” of the Geological Heritage of Calabria which “in addition to being the subject of protection, can transform into a significant economic resource”. This is what we read in the short report that accompanies a bill filed in recent days at Palazzo Campanella by the President of the Regional Council Filippo Mancuso and by the vice -president Pierluigi Caputo.
