Andrea Vendrame (Decathlon AG2R) he won the 19th stage of the 107th edition of the Giro d'Italia, the 157 kilometer Mortegliano-Sappada after a solitary breakaway. The pink jersey group is currently about 16 minutes behind. Vendrama's escape lasted about thirty kilometres. Behind him, completing the podium, separated by about a minute, were Pelayo Sanchez (Movistar Team), second and Georg Steinhauser.
