A team of firefighters from the Catanzaro Command – Lamezia Terme detachment – intervened this afternoon in the municipality of Gizzeria due to a road accident. One car was involved which, traveling along the road from Gizzeria Superiore towards the seaside area, was hit by a falling tree. Two people on board the car who fortunately suffered minor injuries. They were entrusted to the healthcare staff of Suem118 for the necessary treatment. The intervention of the firefighters resulted in the safety of the site and the car and the removal of the tree.
