Applications to participate in the “Home” call could be submitted by October 6th. It was a one-stop method similar to “click day”, i.e. the priority of contributions is given to those who submitted the application first.
The verification of applications began a few days ago. A heterogeneous working group with eleven people from the Department of Social Services but not only, also started what is called the preliminary investigation. In practice, in chronological order, the applications are analyzed and if something is not clear, if a document is missing, if there is some imprecise data, the families are called by the Municipality to be able to integrate or clarify the terms of the request. «This – explains councilor Calafiore – is to avoid excluding those who may not have submitted the application in good faith with all the necessary attributes. It shouldn’t be a bureaucratic quibble that penalizes those who need it and have all the paperwork in order.”
Five days are given to families to respond to requests for integration, and then it will be possible for the working group to draw up the list.
