In Calabria, however, those constantly rising figures describe the growing cost of daily life. The new surge in fuel prices, fueled by the geopolitical uncertainties across the Middle East and by concerns related to the Strait of Hormuz, risks turning into yet another blow to an already fragile economy, where the car is not a luxury, but a necessity.
It is in this context that Confail Faisa has returned to ask for urgent intervention from the Government, Mimit and the Calabria Region, denouncing a situation which is increasingly weighing on families, workers and local public transport companies.
