On the occasion of the anniversary of the death of the master puppeteer Rosario Gargano (28/08/2000-28/08/2024), on Wednesday 28 August at 6.00 pm, at the Opera dei Pupi museum in via Orarorio San Francesco, 2 other “pupi” from the rich family collection, made during the first half of the 20th century by the master puppeteer Venerando Gargano, will be presented to the public.
The two puppets, restored for the occasion, are Luigi Sofia and Orlando: two very interesting examples from a stylistic point of view because one can grasp the essence of the artisanal, artistic and creative characteristics of the knight Venerando and his son, the master Rosario Gargano.
