Fear this morning around dawn due to an independent road accident that occurred at km 2.150 of state road 182 which connects Vibo with Vibo Marina in the Longobardi area. There were two people on board the vehicle, aged 35 and 27: the driver suffered only minor injuries, while the passenger suffered shoulder trauma.
Two ambulances from Vibo intervened. The injured were taken to the Jazzolino emergency room in Vibo for appropriate checks.
Following the impact, the road was temporarily closed to traffic, with diversions set up on local roads to allow for rescue operations and investigations. The reopening took place at 7.45am, restoring circulation.
Rescuers and law enforcement intervened on site, busy managing the emergency and reconstructing the dynamics of the accident. The causes that led the vehicle to lose control still remain to be clarified.
