Flavio Cobolli wins a real arm wrestling match in the Masters 1000 in Indian Wells, California. The opponent of the day was the Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic who had taken the lead 6-3, only to then capitulate 6-3, 6-4.
Matteo Berrettini, however, stops in the second round. The 29-year-old Roman tennis player, number 66 in the ATP ranking, surrendered in two sets to the German Alexander Zverev, fourth in the world ranking and on the draw.
The match ended with a score of 6-3, 6-4 in one hour and twelve minutes of play, with the German tennis player controlling the match in the decisive moments.
Thanks to this success, Zverev advances to the round of 32, where he will face the winner of the match between the American Brandon Nakashima, number 30 in the world rankings and 28th seed of the tournament, and the Argentine Camilo Ugo Carabelli.
