The deputy metropolitan mayor of Reggio Calabria Carmelo Versace together with the manager of the traffic sector, Lorenzo Benestare and to the official Tito Misefari carried out an inspection on the SP 69 and SP 71 roads, which affect the Bianco area, to verify the critical issues following the heavy rains that occurred over the months.
“The attention of the Metropolitan City is always constant in order to safeguard, first and foremost, the vehicular safety involved”. Thus the deputy mayor Versace who adds: “The atmospheric events, which occurred in the previous months, have in fact caused significant damage to metropolitan roads; hence the need for immediate intervention, in order to firstly carry out a work of restoration and cleaning of the ditches which allows the water to flow again, but above all to make important arteries that serve a numerically important population safe” .
“During the inspection – said Versace – we recorded a healthy cmeeting with the local administrators, who appreciated our attention and the battles carried out by the metropolitan mayor, Giuseppe Falcomatà, in relation to the attribution of delegations by the Calabria Region, which would allow methodical planning, with targeted and decisive interventions, without searching for resources outside the road sector”.
At the end of the inspection, deputy mayor Verace went to the Municipality of Bianco for a subsequent meeting with the local administration, during which a program was scheduled to take stock of the subsequent meetings and monitor the interventions that will start in the next few days .
