Iran reports having suffered a massive cyberattack. “The amount of heavy cyber attacks, which have occurred on the three branches of government, the judiciary and parliament, as well as the nuclear industry, are unprecedented and enormous,” said former secretary of the National Virtual Space Center Abolhassan Firouzabadi, quoted by local media.
“A large amount of information was stolen during the attacks,” Firouzabadi added, without mentioning the date of the attacks. Among the objectives – he continued – are also fuel distribution and transport networks, municipalities and ports.
